Let me tell you a funny "insider" story.  I went to a Photography Seminar one weekend (thanks to the hubs!), and the speaker told us "If you've been doing this photography thing for a while and you're not crazy about your photos, maybe you should try a different subject."  WHAT?? (and I rephrased to make it more nice lol).  I have been so blessed to photograph some beautiful families and this one is no exception!  Beautiful inside and out!  And let's be real, this family makes my job pretty easy. ;-p (Except for the chasing of all the kiddos, but I need the exercise anyway!)

We had such a fun time hanging out at the new beach at the Apollo Beach Preserve!  One of the keys of photographing kids is to let them get some of their energy out; they aren't fans of posing for 45 minutes straight.... who knew!?  I try my best to capture the personality of every kiddo I get the pleasure of photographing.  We have fun, we laugh, sometimes they fuss, and we get it done.  Moments into memories...

I always tell this couple that they are my Barbie & Ken subjects.  I don't think I'm the only one that calls them Barbie & Ken ;-).  Again, they make my job easy.  And that sunset though!  Love, love, love capturing the love!

Let's face it, family photo sessions can be stressful, and you always hope you get at least one or two you can use.  My hope is that I can make the session FUN and way more rewarding than just a couple of useful photographs.  Your photographs should represent your family, your personalities, your enjoyment of each other....these are your memories.  They should count.
